I feel really bad for Tomatoes

I'd feel bad for any restaurant called "Tomatoes" right now with the recent Salmonella crap going around. I can just picture someone local that doesn't quite hear it right: "Oh my they found Salmonella in Tomatoes and people are getting sick!"

Beautiful location but Tomatoes is overpriced!

Get a cheaper breakfast without the flies and strong breeze over at Grisoles. The food here is good, service great, and the views spectacular... if not for it being the most convenient location you really should eat at the other restaurants on Hacienda Del Mar.

A decent pool grill at Sirenas gets you good food in your bathing suit

Great food, reasonably priced, at a poolside grill on the beach of Cabo San Lucas. Hard to go wrong here! Only critique (hard to be perfect too) is the service wans and is sometimes hard to get an attentive experience.

A little small and too well lit

Great prices and an outstanding selection of tequila which almost does live up the oft-used claim in Cabo San Lucas that this bar has the largest selection of tequila!

Beautiful beach front dining at D Cortez

Wonderful cuisine and the perfect location for outdoor seating on the beach just minutes from Cabo San Lucas.

Beatiful setting at Girasoles is matched by the great food

Go for breakfast and skip the other popular breakfast spot at Hacienda Del Mar (Tomatoes); Girasoles is a better deal with served all-you-can eat options. Dinner is where the magic begins with great views of the ocean and sunsets. Get the Mexican Coffee which is made at your table with an amazing production using fire to warm the drink. Dress warmly, though hot in Cabo, Girasoles is on the 4th story so the wind can whip through!

Hacienda Del Mar in Cabo San Lucas is the best

Perhaps the greatest resort I've visited, Hacienda del Mar is the perfect blend of adult and family fun with daily activities, a sports bar, and a perfect beach in a beautiful setting with multiple pools and 5 star restaurants. The service from the management costs them a half point in my review as they are less than accommodating and try to nickel and dime you with unforeseen costs (luckily they aren't too expensive); that said, the staff and service are else wise impeccable. Be sure to participate in the activities, local Dune Buggy rides or the zip line tours are outstanding.

One of the nicest qualities of Cabo San Lucas, over other destinations, is the 20 minute ride to almost any hotel from the airport. Be sure to get the $45 cab rate and not get dinged by the guys who claim it costs $75 to get to your resort. Also make sure to head downtown to Cabo for some of the best dining you'll find in Mexico. Need a taste of the US? Cabo has McDonalds, BK, Home Depot, Walmart, and Costco to make sure you don't long for something from home.

Avoid the time share sales pitch, or make sure you get a couple hundred dollars for it (it lasts a few hours, though they tell you only 75 minutes - and the 'closer' is often a sleezy car salesman just trying to get you to sign).
