Located in Kelley Park on the corner of Story and Senter Roads, Happy Hollow Park and Zooâ„¢ has been providing affordable family entertainment, education, and fun since 1961.
Park
The Park is a peaceful, creative, and safe place for children of all ages - with the main focus on "little ones" between the ages of 2-10. There are creative Play Areas, children's Rides, Puppet Shows, special events, and Birthday Areas.
Zoo
Our Zoo is an AZA-Accredited Institution that participates in conservation and propagation of rare and endangered species - while at the same time offering children (and adults) the opportunity to see wondrous animals such as the Ruffed Lemur and Jaguar. The Zoo also provides hands-on experience with many animals along with the education that's necessary to secure the future of endangered species. There's also an Animal Contact Area featuring Alpacas, Goats, Guinea Pigs, and Miniature Horses.

Happy Hollow Zoo is one of the best destinations in the south bay for families. Get the membership card as you'll get discounts and free entry to dozens of surprising places around the peninsula (free entry to Oakland Zoo). The zoo is being remodeled and only half done, is on track to rival some of the best in the country. The park and playgrounds are where Happy Hollow takes a point on my stars, it is old and in need of serious redesign.

The park is full of old rides and cheap attractions just right for little kids. My daughter loves the dragon train and carnival like car rides. The zoo is a much more impressive as they continue to expand and remodel the attraction with new animals and habitats.
