Niners? Feh. Raiders? Bah. A's? Hah! Giants? Nah! Warriors? Who?
The San Jose Sharks are by far the best sports team in the Bay Area, bar none. The HP Pavilion is a terrific venue, and the Sharks are always entertaining, even when they lose (which is rarely). If you've never been to a pro hockey game, you have no idea what you're missing. The Sharks are going to win the Stanley Cup (maybe not this year, but certainly soon), and you REALLY don't know what you're missing if you've never been to a playoff hockey game. Every other sport pales in comparison. Take your earplugs. Go Sharks!

What does it say about me that I grew up with and love the Detroit Red Wings and now can't miss a San Jose Sharks game? Hockey tickets are still somewhat reasonable and it is the only sport that takes me home!
