Black Friday will shine a bright light on the San Jose Harvest Festival. This event offers a complete shopping experience, with unprecedented entertainment acts, original gifts, delicious food, and children’s activities.
Hundreds of artisans from around the country will be exhibiting more than 24,000 American handmade goods, including pottery, clothing, gourmet food items,original art, jewelry, toys, home décor and more! In order to be featured at the
Harvest Festival, all of the exhibitors go through a rigid jury process based on the uniqueness and quality of their products.
Proceeds from the bag sales will go to benefit the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV), which is a non-profit animal shelter which has been serving people and pets for over 79 years and aims to end unnecessary euthanasia of pets in the bay area. Established in 1929, HSSV has made adoption into permanent, loving homes possible for more than half a million animals.
After filling up their shopping bags, guests can enjoy a raucous good time with Tom Rigney and Flambeau, some of the finest musicians on the San Francisco roots music scene. Tom Rigney and Flambeau specialize in fiery Cajun and zydeco two-steps, low-down blues, funky New Orleans grooves, and beautiful ballads and waltzes. Also on the agenda are the Barbary Coast Cloggers, who consistently amaze audiences with their high-energy dancing. Their presentation is educational and features traditional steps, heavy syncopated footwork and uniform styling.
The Harvest Festival was recently acquired by Western Exhibitors, a small, family-owned company that has produced gift and home furnishing trade shows on the West Coast for more than 65 years. Under their new management, the Harvest Festival has returned to its roots by offering a variety of entertainment and good old family fun. Designed to provide guests with the ability to purchase personalized gifts, the Harvest Festival is a delightful shopping experience for the whole family.
