A Warm Summer's Evening

San José Youth Symphony (SJYS) Philharmonic Orchestra and Steinway Society The Bay Area (SSBA), under the leadership of Maestro Yair Samet, present “A Warm Summer’s Evening"

This special evening marks a first time collaboration between these two San José-based organizations and an important fundraising event. The evening includes a silent auction with one-of-a-kind items, a concert featuring our world-class SJYS Philharmonic Orchestra concert with 1997 Van Cliburn Winner and Guest Artist, Jon Nakamatsu. The concert will commence with an intimate interview by Hoyt Smith, radio host for KDFC 102.1, with Mr. Nakamatsu and Maestro Yair Samet, SJYS Music Director. All this followed by a champagne and chocolate VIP reception with Mr. Nakamatsu and Maestro Samet.
