I've always admired the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. One day, a friend suggested to me that we ride our bikes from Fisherman's Wharf across the Golden Gate Bridge over to Sausalito. That sounded really exciting to actually BIKE across the bridge. I'm not a serious biker, so judging from the scope of the ride -- it looked rather daunting! But in reality, the bike ride really easy. There were a couple of hills to climb, but overall, the ride was relaxing and very very scenic! The view from the bridge is absolutely amazing! And, if you don't want to ride all the way back, you can catch the ferry! That's right, you can put your bikes on the ferry, sit down, relax, watch the sailboats, and feel the ocean breeze...it's such a refreshing experience! I highly recommend it! :)
