Located in San Francisco, California, is a large urban park. At 1017 acres (4.1 km², 1.6 mi²), it is in the shape of a long rectangle, similar in shape but 174 acres (0.7 km², 0.27 mi²) larger than Central Park in New York. With 13 million visitors annually, Golden Gate is the third most visited city park in America (after Central Park and Lincoln Park in Chicago).

The surreal beauty of the building almost exceeds some of the art inside. Definitely visit the top of the tower (free) for a gorgeous panoramic of San Francisco, and the outside cafe on a nice sunny day. Enjoy a relaxing walk in the surrounding park after your visit.
