Amnesia is a cozy red-lighted den presenting the finest in live music, entertainment, and DJs every night. Behind the swinging portico parlor doors you will be treated to a diverse selection of quality live music from Bluegrass to Indie Rock, 20's and 30's Hot Jazz to even wild Gypsy Brass. On weekends some of S.F.’s premiere underground DJs turn it out bent on working you into a fevered sweat on the dance floor. We also host private parties and benefits with ease and style.
Amnesia offers an array of fine beer, wine & soju cocktails, including a wide selection of micro brews and Belgian beers on tap in a relaxed and intimate environment. Happy hour, offered from 6–8pm daily, is a fine time to saddle up and sample one of our many domestic beers on tap for cheap.

There are so many great art scenes that thrive here in San Francisco, and many of them can be found on any given night at Amnesia. From balken dj sets to jazz nights, there seems to always be some great show going on at this little bordello-esque beer bar. The first time I ever saw the belly dance troupe Sister Kate was at Amnesia, and Amnesia was where the Accordion Girls Calendar had their release party sponsored by Good-vibrations! This bar is definitely one of my favorite spots in the Mission.
