George Packer In Conversation With Elizabeth Farnsworth

George Packer is a journalist, novelist and playwright who has been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 2003. His acclaimed investigation of the events leading up to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, The Assassins' Gate: America in Iraq, and his award-winning play about Iraqi interpreters, Betrayed, show a deep and wide-ranging engagement with the War on Terror that is without match in contemporary letters.
