Doug Williams - From 'The Mind of the Married Man' and host of '1st Amendment Stand up'

Doug Williams began his comedy and acting career only two months after moving to Los Angeles when he landed his first major film role in “The Nutty Professor.” From there, his off beat style of stand-up comedy concerning relationships with women and his life made him a favorite on BET’s “Club Comic View,” where he also did a one hour stand-up comedy special. Doug has also appeared on “Premium Blend VIII,” “Vibe,” “The Keenen Ivory Wayans show,” “Friday Night, Late Night,” and fulfilled a life long dream by performing on “It’s Showtime at the Apollo.” Currently, Doug hosts a new hit stand-up comedy show on Starz called “Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand up.”
Doug also appears in a stand-up comedy special with Mo’nigue called “The Big Black Comedy Show,” out on DVD now. He also plays Kevin on the HBO’s comedy series “The Mind of the Married Man,” as well as Gus “The Cabbie” and many other characters on BET’s sketch comedy show “The Way We Do It.”
