Babja's 5th Annual Young Journalist Scholarship Luncheon - October 10, 2008

Please join us on friday, october 10th as the bay area black journalists association (babja) honors veteran bay area professionals--- pam moore (kron 4 news, anchor), renel brooks- moon (98.1 kisq-fm, morning show host/sf giants, announcer) and george harris (kcbs radio, reporter).
This years fundraiser luncheon will be held on friday, october 10, 2008 at the hilton towers, 333 ofarrell st., san francisco from 11:30-1:30pm.
As in years past, the 5th annual fundraising luncheon for the young journalists scholarship goal is to raise awareness and funds to support a variety of programs for minority journalism students. These programs include mentoring, scholarships and hands-on training workshops. To date, we have awarded over $17,000 in scholarships and counting!
