Flipper
They came, they saw, and they conquered -- sort of. Never topping the charts, nor possessing a huge following, San Francisco's Flipper, even in the '90s alt-rock sweepstakes, would still be considered a fringe act.

The Avengers
One of the first and finest bands to emerge from San Francisco's punk scene, the Avengers were together for only a little over two years, and they didn't release an album during their lifetime.

Negative Trend
Negative Trend was formed in 1977 by Craig Gray and Will Shatter from the shortlived (2 gigs) band Grand Mal. After seeing Rozz break his wrist jumping over an amp singing an Iggy song at a party at Iguana studios,they decided he was there new man.

The Mutants
The San Francisco Mutants are a major band in the history of San Francisco punk and new wave music. They are known for their outrageous performances from the late seventies to mid eighties.
