Join Francesca Zambello, internationally recognized opera and theater director and recently appointed Artistic Advisor of the San Francisco Opera, for an intimate conversation about the challenges, quirks and joys of working in opera. Zambello is in town to direct the production of Das Rheingold and will share stories of her career and the amazing casts she has worked with.

The National Queer Arts Festival (NQAF) is a month-long festival of music, dance, visual art, spoken word, poetry, comedy, theater, and film featuring over 400 artists in 75 events and over 100 performances in 20 venues throughout San Francisco.
NQAF 2008 highlights include the Festival Opening (with an art reception and performances) – “Making Room for Wonder” (June 1), Armistead Maupin in the “Radar Reading Series” (June 3), Rhodessa Jones in “The Outsiders” (June 17), Guillermo Gómez-Peña in “The Outsiders” (June 24), and Marga Gomez in “Marga & More Boys” (June 27).
