The eclectic Scottish duo, The Proclaimers are back with a vengeance with their seventh studio album, "Life With You," in stores April 1st on Decca/W14. To support the album, Charlie and Craig Reid are gearing up for a major tour in select cities across the U.S. which kicks off on April 20th in Buffalo, NY. Produced by Steve Evans (Robert Plant, Siouxsie) and recorded at Rockfield Studio in Wales, "Life With You" shows off the Leith-born twins at the height of their career. The album includes a new rousing sing-along single of the same name which is sure to join the likes of "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)", ?Letter From America? and ?I?m On My Way? as a classic Proclaimers? anthem. Also included is a cover of Wreckless Eric's ?Whole Wide World,? which has become a hit with UK audiences during their live shows. Always a critic's darling, the brothers have already received rave reviews from the UK press on the album which was released in 2007 across the pond. Mojo raved; ?The album drips with passion? while the Daily Mail stated "Life With You" was ?a masterful new collection.? Check out the duo in a city near you and see why after more than 20 years in music The Proclaimers are better than ever!

The Proclaimers
When the Scottish duo of Craig and Charlie Reid emerged in 1987, they were immediately compared to the Everly Brothers. Considering their energetic, melodic folk-rock, the comparison made some sense, even though the Proclaimers didn't really sound like the Everlys.
