The Story-time Festival brings it's audience into a magical world filled with wondrous stories from past to present. It is a fusion of visual and performing arts pertaining to historically significant stories from a variety of cultures. Stories shown throughout the festival may be anything from children's fairytales to long-lived legends. The acts are as diverse as the stories they depict and may feature a range of genres.
The festival begins with "Tales of Enchantment", a collection of stories inviting everyone from toddlers to those youthful at heart. The second collection of stories, "Storytime for the Inner Child", is intended for a grown audience of strictly 18 and over, allowing for more artistic freedom and expression.
From the first step into the exciting world of stories, each spectator is brought into the miraculous world beyond his or her imagination where stories come to life and anything is possible. Don't be surprised if you are approached by anyone from a mystical magician to a vibrant fish. Your journey continues as you observe stories told through fashion, take a peek into your future with a fortune-teller, jet set on a quick trip to India with henna tattoos, receive an adorable gift or even win a prize, experience many more surprises in-store. Just when you think your journey has neared its end, you find yourself sitting in a theatre bearing witness to an innovative world of stories sprung from their pages and brought to life.
