The practice of shrinking heads was once common amongst the Jivaro Indians of Ecuador. It was a ritual that had been handed down through generations. The heads of slain warriors were valued as trophies or symbols of bravery. When a fighter killed his enemy, the victim's head was removed. The skin was then peeled away from the skull and hot stones and sand were poured into the cavity. The head was sewn shut and boiled in herbs until it had shrunk to the size of a fist. Ceremonial dances, feasts and songs accompanied the ritual!.

Eating Crowe

The vibe was just not there. I'm sure Ed and Marc are glad to know that the Crowes are seriously hurting without them. It was nice to see the brothers do their thing but the guitar solos just were not even close friends. I've seen this band all over the country over the last 20 years almost and never have been let down until towards the end of last year for the first time. I gave them one more chance & regret it. I heard a lot of people saying stuff like "they should bring back Marc" I would hate to see that with his solo/producing career really starting to blossom like it is. Believe me, the Crowes are missing that old chemistry. Sorry guys.
