Conductor and Guest Artists Marvin Hamlisch, ConductorFaith Prince Dancers of San Diego Ballet Highlights Marvin Hamlisch's premiere concert as Principal Pops Conductor of the San Diego Symphony! Manhatten comes to San Diego in a big way as American songwriter and composer Marvin Hamlisch makes his exciting debut as Principal Pops Conductor of the San Diego Symphony. This tribute to the music of "The Big Apple" features special guest singer/actress Faith Prince, as well as works by Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, and of course, Kander & Ebb's classic "New York, New York". As a winner of three Oscars, four Grammys, four Emmys, a Tony and three Golden Globes, Marvin Hamlisch knows a thing or two about entertainment, so don't miss this spectacular evening of music, reminiscence, and special surprises! All ticket buyers for New York New York before Thursday, 11/9 will be eligible for a W San Diego hotel package drawing! The winner will receive a free overnight stay at the W and a free meal at the W's Rice Restaurant, all on the night of your New York New York concert!
