Mama's Café #4

The San Antonio based group of Mama's Cafes has been a family favorite for more than 27 years. Each of the four restaurants evokes the era of the traditional family with cozy, nostalgic decor, checkered curtains and table cloths, reminiscent of the old '30's renovated gas stations.

Famous for the legendary Fried Mushrooms, among many "made from scratch", home-style Texas Hill Country delicacies, there is something on the extensive menu for every taste -- including the best breakfast in town 7 days a week! The menu has changed very little over 27 years, and we are still using the same delicious recipes that were handed down from Mama's own Mama.

All Cafes also feature full service bars and outdoor seating areas and were designed to appeal to folks of all ages. The cozy, eclectic decors, each a bit different,harken back to the kinder, gentler times of yesteryear. Hung from the ceilings and walls are genuine antiques and memorabilia galore, all collected in Texas. Three of the four locations feature cozy fireplaces, and two have large outdoor sandboxes to keep the younger generation busy and happy.

Mama guarantees not only that the food will be hot and delicious, but that the cheerful service will exceed even the highest of expectations.
