Sac State hosts double quilt exhibit

A Centennial “Four Eagles” quilt is part of a double exhibit at Sac State. “Artistry of the Traditional Quilt” runs Sept. 7-Oct. 20 in the Library Gallery Annex on campus, 6000 J Street. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., T-Sat. Reception is 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7.“Piecing the Past Together: Nineteenth Century Quilts” runs Sept. 7-Dec. 20 in the Library Special Collections and University Archives. Hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. M-F. The pieces are from the Carol Gebel collection.
