All Tomorrow's Parties curated by Deerhunter Festival

Saturday, Jun 22, 2013 12:00p to 11:59p

Hailing from Atlanta, Deerhunter have also been one of the most exciting up and coming bands in rock music in the last decade with each of their albums helping to build a very dedicated fanbase. They are long time ATP regulars (and favourites) and we're very happy to have them head the bill and curate the ATP festival. Their event takes place at Pontins, Camber Sands from Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd June 2013.

Robyn Hitchcock Remove performer from this event
Robyn Hitchcock started out as the leader of late-'70s U.0.K psychedelic revivalists the Soft Boys. After that band's disintegration at the turn of the decade, he became a solo artist, whose Bob Dylan-meets-Syd Barrett absurdist wordplay meshed perfectly with his post-Beatles pop melodicism....

Pere Ubu was aptly named for Alfred Jarry's Dadaist play. One of the prime movers in post-punk, the influential Cleveland, Ohio, group took the power and volume of punk and the fractured song forms of avant-gardists like Captain Beefheart, then sent David Thomas's free-ranging vocalizing careening across the top....

Black Lips
Black Lips Remove performer from this event
Playing garage-flavored punk rock with a Southern accent, a messed-up and bluesy undertow, and the gleefully destructive impact of a 15-year-old with a bag of firecrackers, the Black Lips are an Atlanta-based combo who after their debut in 2000 soon developed a reputation as one of the Peach State's wildest bands....
