The Asian American Community Leadership… Show more Summit @ Aacc  brings together government liaisons for Asian Americans, Asian American community leaders, organizers and managers from community advocacy and professional organizations that are interested in growing and empowering a strong Asian American community in Chicago.

4. Open Dialogue - Opportunity for Chicago Asian American community
   leaders to provide input on ways in which the Obama Administration
   can actively support the community in the new term, especially with
   regards to entrepreneurship.
5. Networking among Asian American Community leaders.

Background
Oca is a national Asian American advocacy organization (see www.ocanational.org ) OCA-Chicago is the local chapter in Chicago that implement Oca program with a local focus. OCA-Chicago initiated the Asian American Community leadership summit in 2010 during Asian American Heritage Month with the intent to bring the community leaders together to learn and strategize on how to work together to better support the Asian American community in Chicago. A seminar on Non-profit board creation and fund-raising was also conducted. In 2011, a special seminar on community leadership and networking was conducted. In June of 2012, a leadership development track was implemented as part of the Asian American Business Expo. The making of Asian American CEO workshop was attended by more than 100 people.(See www.ocachicago.org  and www.asianamericanbusienssexpo.com )
The Asian American Executive Network is an informal global network group for senior corporate professionals, entrepreneurs and community organization leaders who are interested in working together to support the Asian American community and help others in reaching their career objectiives.
