Singing with a vibrant and beautiful sound, the Bay Area's acclaimed WomenSing will perform an afternoon salon concert designed to highlight the majesty and the acoustical features of the new Weill Hall. The program will include movements from Britten's "Missa Brevis in D" for treble voices; newly commissioned "Bright Morning Stars are Rising" form WomenSing's recently released CD: Songs from the Old and New World. Other works by Telfer, Tosti and Beethoven will also be included.
