For all those complainers about this theater. This theater is great, clean and the staff is polite and I've been standing inline to go to the movies since the early 70's. Would you rather be in a gs line or a food line. Remember where you live little ones.
Its just a movie.

The theater is nice, clean but they never have enough employees to run concessions, therefore it takes FOREVER to get your snacks and as your carrying your huge small soda and popcorn, purse and whatever else in your clearly occupied hands to the the theater they will ask to see ID, not the movie stub, your ID, i guess if you look young enough. So you show your ID twice every time, when you buy your ticket and when you go to the theater. So inconveniencing. I'm 20 and in college and they ask me every single time I go. Plus they no longer offer a student discount on the weekends which is the dumbest thing ever, considering college students would only have time to go to movies on the weekend. And we barely have any money so that's just stupid and mean altogether. They are unworthily expensive and the customer service is not that great.

Some of the other reviewer seem to have some puny pet dislikes, but I find the theater very comfortable with an accomodating staff. Tickets and concessions are a little pricy, but comparable to other large thaters in Charlotte.

Beware: if you even look slightly like you might be below 20, they will harass you and treat you like garbage at this theater. Would never return here if not for the fact that it's the only "real" theater in town. Also, the sound is often turned far too low or too high and they NEVER enforce the cell phone rules.

Nice theater, pretty clean. BUT the Prices Are WAY TOO HIGH!!! Come on, give us a break with this economy. The Freschetta Pizza sucks too. Its too spicy. What happen to the UNO pizza. It was MUCH better! Anyway, I will still keep going cause its clean. grrrrrr

Pros: clean, staff is nice, helpful. Lots of matinee times, cheap movies on Tues., special community promotions (school groups)
Cons: Fandango/debit kiosk horribly located right by inside by ticket tearer causing jam-up, concession service is jaw-droppingly slow, even a "small" cup is too big to get your hand or bladder around.

Movie theater - good. Popcorn - great. Drink cups - hate them. Please bring back the skinnier drink cups. All of us do not have King Kong hands!

My wife and I have seen quite a few movies at this theater. They do a good job of silencing people and even announce before the movie starts that people should turn off their mobile phones.
The staff is courteous and helpful.
The screens are not digital, and a prone to glitches. Luckily we have not seen too many of them during the movies that we've watched there.
