Slide presentation with commentary by Lowell Wine, Hollins professor emeritus of statistics. Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, Kirtipur, and Patan, four former city-states in the Kathmandu Valley, were united over 200 years ago by King Prithvi Narayan, but they still retain interesting differences. For example, Bhaktapur remains the most medieval while Patan is most Buddhist.
