While the event I went to see was great (Al Gore), the seats made this event torture.
If you think that price had anything to do with it, you would be wrong.
ALL the seats were the same: FOLDING chairs! Padded, but narrow and shallow, with very little leg room.
It would not have been so bad, but they were jammed so close together (actually hooked), that if the person next to you was larger than a child, you were really rubbing elbows (and possibly other parts) with them.
In the area we were sitting, the chairs were on some sort of risers, which felt unstable and were not very deep.
There was very little room to edge along if there were people already there. If one lost one's balance, there was nothing to hang onto, and you could fall on other people easily or just down onto the next level of chairs.
The seats on the floor of the center were at least on a level surface, so I guess you could buy a better level of safety.
After a half an hour I had aching legs, and an aching back. By the end of the presentation, I was pathetically grateful that some of my neighbors had left so I could move my legs a little bit.
This was miles worse than being trapped in an airplane with small seats and no leg room. At least there, if you try to get up and move around, you do not have to worry about falling down to the next level! And, the seats are bolted down.
In addition, when we were trying to get to our seats, there was hardly any light. I refused to attempt to negotiate the steps in the dark, and finally someone found me an employee with a SMALL flashlight. This helped some, but was still dangerous due to the low light.
This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen, and uncomfortable to boot!
