Optimal breastfeeding & complementary feeding practices can save the lives of 1.5 million kids under 5 every year. Far from being a matter of choice, breastfeeding is simply not accessible for many mothers and families. We discuss not the how-to's of breastfeeding, but economic and societal issues that limit families' ability to raise kids in safe and healthy environments.
