Firth Haring Fabend, author of the just-published New Netherland in a Nutshell: A Concise History of the Dutch Colony in North America, will show slides to illustrate who the diverse people were who inhabited the seventeenth-century colony that became New York, New Jersey, and parts of Delaware, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. She will have this book and some of her other books available for sale and signing.
