National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master and renowned Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Branford Marsalis brings his adventurous quartet for an evening of sizzling hot jazz. One of the most revered instrumentalists of his time, Marsalis has led a dizzying array of jazz ensembles from big bands to quartets and has been a frequent soloist with classical ensembles. Live jazz simply doesn't get any better than when Marsalis and his innovative group take the stage.

The oldest of the four musical Marsalis brothers, Branford Marsalis has had an impressive career. After studying at Southern University and Berklee, Branford toured Europe with the Art Blakey big band in the summer of 1980 (playing baritone), played three months with Clark Terry, and then spent five months playing alto with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers (1981)....
