Milburne

Milburne was the last, but considered to be the finest, commission of William Lawrence Bottomley.
This magnificent home features an oval entry hall with a beautiful cantilevered staircase. The paneled drawing
room, sycamore paneled library, the well-detailed dining room and the breakfast room provide an outstanding
view of the notable gardens and James River. The home was constructed in 1934 as a wedding gift to Mr. and
Mrs. Walter S. Robertson.
