Antonia's at the Beach

We arrived early for reservation for our Anniversary dinner and were promptly seated. Very excited, since we had not been here in 1 year. Already picked out our bottle of wine and food for the night. However, 35-40 minutes had gone by and still no service from a server. Menus, drinks, etc. No one asked us if we were being helped already. The hostess must have passed us by many times without a word as well. We eventually left and tried to salvage our Anniversary night. Will never go back and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I must say after going to this restaurant many times, were I live on Revere Beach. I have had enough..the last four times we have gone there my husbands order has been messed up. At first we thought it was the Bar Tender. But we were there on Father's Day and had a waitress who put the order in and once again it came out wrong. One of the young owner's we had a nice chat with in the beginning before our dinner..but as the evening went on and my husband again had to wait for his dinner as we had already ate ours. They brought out pasta with a pink sauce (YUK)..asked for red sauce they came out with red sause and Hard pasta...then the bill comes..do you think they would once again compensate for this..no..the YOUNG owner (after we pried) him from another table thought it was an inconvience to come to our table and be compensated for what had happened...he stated to my husband this is a one time thing. OMG..We will not go back again..this is the 4th time it's happened...Their nice when you first walk in but if they make a mistake they don't take the blame..I would not suggest eating at this restaurant..food is ok but I've had better down the street in Winthrop.
