San Francisco Peninsula Camellia Society Show & Sale

Come see 1,000 camellia blooms. Public is invited to enter blooms in judged show between 8 and 10 a.m. Show opens 12 noon. Plant sale includes new and hard-to-find varieties, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Workshop on culture and care, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Ikebana display using camellias. Show honors society's preeminent member, 92-year-old Cameron Ainsworth of Redwood City. Free and open to the public. Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Ave., Redwood City.
