The Museum will join in Redwood City’s third annual celebration of the Lunar New Year. This Asian celebration of change ushers in the Year of the Snake. Outdoor performances on Courthouse Square and indoor activities will be free to the public. The performances on Courthouse Square will include lion dances, acrobatics, taiko drumming and martial arts demonstrations. Children’s activities within the Museum will include making traditional New Year’s red envelopes and making paper lanterns.
