The PAL Blues, Arts & Bar-B-Que Festival

The Redwood City PAL Blues, Arts and Bar-B-Que Festival, presented by the San Mateo Credit Union, brings the best of the blues to Courthouse Square in Downtown Redwood City on July 27th & 28th. The Festival features blues musicians from the Bay Area and beyond including Sista Monica, Andy Santana, Cold Feat, Gary Smith, Ron Hacker and many more. Offering wonderful live music, a family area with an arcade for children, and delicious food, the festival showcases Redwood City’s Courthouse Square, along… Show more with Redwood City’s downtown merchants and restaurants.

In its seventh year, the PAL Blues, Arts and Bar-B-Que Festival boasts a Bar-B-Que Cook-off Competition, where amateur and professional chefs compete for fun, plaques, and BBQ Glory. Plus, the unique artist booths of Art on the Square will fill the square with stunning art all day on Saturday.

Proceeds from this fun and exciting family festival will directly benefit the important programs of the Redwood City Police Activities League (PAL). The PAL offers prevention and intervention programs to the youth of the community including programs such as the citywide sports programs and after school programs.
