From their first LP in 1973, to their powerful stage presence today, the Marshall Tucker Band has played countless concert venues around the world. The current lineup of Doug Gray, Chris Hicks, B.B. Borden, Marcus Henderson, Pat Elwood and Stuart Swanlund continue to pack audiences into their shows to the delight of longtime fans and generations of new fans who have discovered MTB over the years. This lineup evokes the feeling of the original band, but is original in its own right, delivering dynamic performances night after night. Gray notes that people have gotten “married, named their children and pets after, and gotten buried” to classic MTB songs like “Heard It In a Love Song,” “Fire On The Mountain,” “Desert Skies”, and “Can’t You See.”
The band will perform over 100 headline shows in 2009 in support of The Next Adventure, THE MARSHALL TUCKER BANDS’s 22nd Studio album and its 34rd overall. Produced by founding member Doug Gray, the recording continues the tradition of mixing flavors of blues, country, pop, rock, gospel and jazz that has been the band’s trademark sound since first exploding out of the cauldron of Capricorn Records with it’s self-titled platinum debut album in 1973. THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND went on to record seven consecutive gold or platinum albums, a platinum Greatest Hits album and multiple hit singles for Capricorn before moving to Warner Brothers for six albums in 1979. The Next Adventure is the latest installment in the continuing legacy of one of America’s greatest Southern rock bands, still calling the road its home. THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND’S “adventure” continues!

Moonalice is a band of seasoned players exploring new musical territory with a passion. They conjure up a heady brew of roots, rock, rhythm-and-blues, and more, peppered with spirited doses of improvisation and surprise. A perfect example of the proverbial whole being greater than the sum of its parts, Moonalice turns it collective body of experience, ace musicianship, great songs, and love of adventure into live performances as distinct as they are compelling.
And what a band!
Hardwood Moonalice aka G.E. Smith (bass, guitars, vocals) has previously performed as the leader of the Saturday Night Live house band; lead guitarist with Hall & Oates and Bob Dylan, among many other artists; and was a member of the Flying Other Brothers.
Sir Sinjin Moonalice aka Pete Sears (bass, keyboards, accordion, vocals) has been playing for over 40 years, with Rod Stewart, John Lee Hooker, Jefferson Starship, Hot Tuna, various members of the Grateful Dead, and was a member of the Flying Other Brothers.
Jesùs H. Moonalice aka Barry Sless (bass, guitar, pedal steel, vocals) is a founding member of the David Nelson Band; has previously performed with Cowboy Jazz, Kingfish, Flying Other Brothers; and still plays with Phil Lesh & Friends.
Blue Moonalice aka Ann McNamee (bass, percussion, vocals, keyboards) has a doctorate in Music Theory, as well as more than 200 self-penned songs in her portfolio. She was a member of the Flying Other Brothers; she also records with Ann Atomic.
Chubby Wombat Moonalice aka Roger McNamee (bass, guitar, vocals) has rocked by night with the Flying Other Brothers, while a day gig finds him teaming with U2’s Bono as a founding member of venture capital firm Elevation Partners.
White Smoke Moonalice aka John Molo (drums, bass) is a veteran percussionist who has contributed his expert rhythms to the bands of Bruce Hornsby, Phil Lesh & Friends, John Fogerty, The Other Ones, Keller Williams and many more.
Yggdrassil Moonalice aka Jack Casady* (bass) is considered one of the foremost bassists in rock, both as a member of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, as well as having recorded with Jimi Hendrix on “Voodoo Chile.”
