Queen-wizard Prospera rules an enchanted all-female island. The intimidating matriarch conjures a storm that shipwrecks a gaggle of sailors on the island. Naturally, the queen’s wayward daughter Miranda falls for a sailor named Romeo, which The Globe and Mail describes as: “A young Patrick Swayze, which the women of the world been waiting to see again ever since Dirty Dancing. Just FYI, ladies.”
