Fauvism (wild beasts in French) is a style associated with a small group of early Modern artists who emphasized painterly qualities and strong color. Cathy Carey is known for her expressive use of color and self identifies as a Contemporary Fauve Expressionist. Ms. Carey will demonstrate her unique style and share her insights of Color Theory using Sennelier on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 7 P.M. in the community room at the Ramona Library.
