"Being Well" Monthly Talks on Wellness: Heart Disease - What Everyone Should Know
Duke Professor Kimberly Yarnall will speak on recognizing the signs of heart disease, and understanding that what puts us at risk is so very important. Prevention is key when it comes to minimizing risks for cardiovascular disease and making important lifestyle and diet changes, which need to be started at as young an age as possible. Dr. Yarnall has been awarded the 'Best Doctors in America' award. Her areas of research include women’s issues and improving health care access and quality.
