Lecture and Book Signing: “Telling Portraits: Stories Behind the Faces”

Wednesday, Oct 15 7:00p

Bestselling author Susan Vreeland tells how her historical novels find authenticity in thorough, deliberate research. With Small Treasures in mind, Vreeland discusses her Vermeer-inspired book Girl in Hyacinth Blue and elaborates on the significance of portraits in her character portrayals. Vreeland concludes with insights about her latest novel, Lisette’s List. Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite book by Vreeland for a signing after the lecture. (Books not available for purchase.)
