“Freedom Coming, Freedom for All: the Emancipation Proclamation in NC” lecture by Earl Ijames

Earl Ijames will speak on “Freedom Coming, Freedom for All” on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 7 pm at the Visitors Center of the Joel Lane Museum House. Admission is $15 for the general public. Refreshments will be served. Advanced payment is required. Tickets are non-refundable unless we must cancel the event.

Earl Ijames is Curator for African American and Community History at the NC Museum of History. He will discuss how the Emancipation Proclamation took affect in North Carolina.
