WOVENtranslations: Parallel Paths Taken - Mary Kircher

Mary Kircher's work is an interpretation of wilderness themes reflected in the weaving and dyeing process. During her time as a Regional Emerging Artist-in-Residence at Artspace, she has taken two parallel paths in exploring weaving and dye techniques. One path has been a discovery of moving her artwork off of the grid and capturing nature's inspiration, the other has been technique driven by refining her woven shibori technique.
