Racine Symphony Orchestra "Laurino Goes Italian"
Saturday, Apr 20 7:30p
First Presbyterian Church
Racine,

Laurino goes Italian – That’s Mendelssohn’s “Italian” Symphony. Composed in Italy when Mendelssohn was 23 years old, Symphony No. 4 is heralded as his best-loved symphonic work. The concert highlights 20th century Polish composer Lutoslawski’s Little Suite for Orchestra. The talented winner of the 2013 Young Artists Competition will also solo with the orchestra. Joining the orchestra will be high school students from the annual RSO Youth String Invitational.
