Author Richard King to Visit Providence Public Library January 26

Sunday, Jan 26 2:00p to 3:30p

PPL welcomes "The Devil’s Cormorant" author Richard King for a book talk & signing in the Library’s Meeting Rm., 3rd Fl.

King takes us back in time & around the world to show the history, nature, ecology & economy of the world’s most misunderstood waterfowl. Long a symbol of gluttony, greed, bad luck & evil, the cormorant has led a troubled existence in human history, myth & literature.

KING is Sr. Lecturer in literature of the sea with Maritime Studies of Williams College and Mystic Seaport.
