The Shinn Study Abroad Scholarship Fund of Rhode Island College welcomes international classical pianist Manabu Takasawa in a performance of classical and world piano works including Francis Poulenc's The Story of Babar: The Little Elephant (narrated by Trinity Repertory Company Artistic Director Curt Columbus), William Bolcom's The Serpent's Kiss and A Particle of Light for Piano and Nambu bells, by Yoshihiro Kanno.
