Opera Providence presents "Pirates of Penzance" at the "new" Columbus Theatre, 270 Broadway, Providence, on Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15, at 8 pm, Friday, June 21, at 8 pm and Sunday, June 23, 3 pm. This classical Gilbert and Sullivan opera features Ryne Cherry as The Pirate King, Joshua Collier as Fredric, Ana Maria Ugarte as Ruth, Julianne Gearhart as Mabel, and Andy Papas as Major General Stanley.
