Trees work as carbon sinks, removing and storing the excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and repairing the balance of greenhouse gases. The effects of losing a carbon sink can have far reaching repercussions, affecting wildlife as far away as the Arctic Circle. Learn how you can help at Planting for the Planet!
