Kimme Carlos, daughter of Dr. John Carlos,the Olympian who made headlines around the world for raising his fist in the Black Power salute at the 1968 Olympics, will be our guest speaker.Join us as we look back at a pivotal time during the height of America’s civil rights movement.This presentation is free and open to the community. Ms.Carlos works for the African Studies Association at Rutgers University.
