The Portland Ceili Society (a 501(c)(3) non-profit cultural organization) invites you to our monthly 3rd Friday Irish Ceili Dance with live music. Enjoy Irish set & ceili dancing to the lively tunes of traditional Irish musicians. This social dance style is similar to square & contra dancing. We offer a free dance lesson from 7:15-7:45 PM, then called dancing begins at 8 PM. All dances are walked through before they begin. No partner or experience is needed. This is a great mixer for singles.
