Fujiya & Miyagi
Fujiya & Miyagi
Despite the name, Fujiya & Miyagi are neither Japanese nor a duo. The electronic trio of singer and guitarist David Best, synth player Steve Lewis, and bassist Matt Hainsby are deeply indebted both to vintage '70s Krautrock and the '90s bands that were themselves influenced by the likes of Neu! and Kraftwerk, from Stereolab and Broadcast to Aphex Twin and the Orb....
Zorch
Zorch
Formed in Boston but seemingly out of somewhere in left field, the music of multi-instrumentalists Zac Traeger and Sam Chown of Zorch is best described as kaleidoscopic. Using a variety of instruments (including vintage modded keyboards, pedals, and an Omnichord), the experimental indie duo carves psychedelic pop songs out of mayhem, with Chown's rambunctious drumming providing the backbone for their uplifting vocals....
Dessa
Dessa

Why?
Why?
The CCM band Why? was formed in London by 1990 by singer/guitarist Ant Parker and bassist Jeff Whiley; the latter quit the following year after recording the LP Rachel's Lovely Jumper, the first in a series of seemingly countless line-up changes to follow in the years to come....
