Species Overview: Northern Spotted Owlline

Friday, Sep 6, 2013 6:00p to 10:00p

This owl, which is recognized as threatened by the United States government, prospers in the mild climate of coastal California. Possibly the densest known population of northern spotted owls is found on the public lands in Marin County. Spend the evening with Point Reyes biologist and northern spotted owl researcher, Kaitlin Harrigan to learn more about the long-term monitoring and banding programs, research on study specific sites, reproductive success and dispersal of local spotted owls.
