The Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show® is the largest indoor arts and crafts show on the West Coast, and for many it’s also a time honored tradition. Every year, people look forward to visiting their favorite artisans, snacking on gourmet samples and browsing over 24,000 American handmade arts and crafts.
For over 37 years, the Harvest Festival’s unique shopping atmosphere, coupled with great entertainment, has thrilled customers from all walks of life. Shoppers are treated to a one-of-a-kind opportunity to browse and select from thousands of unique, handmade items, including jewelry, photographs, sculptures, pottery, accessories, clothing, specialty foods, home décor and more. Each exhibitor is subject to a rigid jury process to be selected as a featured artisan, assuring only the highest quality products make it into the show.
The Pleasanton Harvest Festival is proud to once again partner with the Valley Humane Society (VHS) to help the organization with fundraising efforts. The VHS was the select charity for the Harvest Festival for its Pleasanton Spring Harvest Festival, where the group raised over $2,000 for animals in need of homes and assistance. The VHS will receive half of the proceeds from shopping bag sales and all of the proceeds from the parcel checks. Additionally, the show has joined forces with the Alameda County Community Food Bank to help raise hunger awareness and donations for the esteemed non-profit. Anyone who brings a canned food donation to the show will receive a $2 off admission coupon as a thank you.
The event has a very family-friendly environment, and the Pleasanton Harvest Festival is offering specialized area’s set aside for children to partake in hands-on arts and crafts activities. Plus, children under 12 get into the festival for free!
Throughout the day, fabulous live musicians and performers continually entertain patrons as they browse, eat and shop. New to the Pleasanton Harvest Festival this year is Cash Tribute, a band that covers the hits of Johnny Cash and brings back traditional favorites with a twist. Also new this year is Scotty and Trink, a comedic duo with unusually special skills in juggling balls, clubs, torches and knives. Scotty and Trink have appeared at Caesar’s Palace, Mandalay Bay and Cobb’s Comedy Club, amongst many other venues.
Don’t miss the chance to see these exciting live performances while browsing through the unique gifts that you won’t find anywhere else.
